"Self-service" usually means taking off the needleplate, taking out the bobbin, cleaning out with a brush or pipe cleaner, and putting a drop of oil in the wick or on the hook. This is NOT service! In our program, you'll learn to safely remove the covers of your sewing machine (yes, even computerized!), clean out all the lint and debris, keep the computer boards clean (if applicable), apply fresh lubricant, check for any issues, and put the machine back together again.
